Penguins!

We have been studying penguins for the last week. We read many fictional stories about penguins, like Tacky the Penguin and Cinderella Penguin. We paired these books with a non fiction book about penguins. We focused on Emperor penguins and Adélie penguins. To conclude this unit, we made a penguin and wrote a sentence about what we learned.

In science, we are growing our own penguin! Yep, you saw that right! We had a little penguin that when put in water, grows! We have been watching him grow and charting his growth!
