Planting Seeds

Today we planted two kinds of seeds. We all panted some nasturtiums and then we had five groups planting five kinds of seeds: scarlet runner beans, French fillet beans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and corn seeds. 

We started by getting soil and poking holes in it to make room for the seeds.

Then we had to water our plants.

Now they are resting in our windowsill getting some sun. We can't wait to see when them sprout! 

We even read two plant books in library. We read a fiction book and a nonfiction book about seeds and plants.
