Watermelon Day!

Today was our first camping day! When we walked into the classroom the kids were amazed that ithad  been transformed into Camp Learned A Lot! 

We did all of our work in our tents with our lanterns! It was so fun!

We then sampled all of our amazing watermelon treats! It was such a perfect day for it! The juicy watermelon treats helped us stay cool and hydrated in this heat! We made a graph with four of our treats to figure out which was the class favorite.

The watermelon candy won! All of the treats were delicious! Thank you to those that donated them! 

We even had enough treats to have an afternoon snack! We indulged in watermelon juice and another slice of watermelon.

Then we made rip art watermelons in our tents! 

What an awesome day! I can't wait for ice cream day tomorrow!
