Starker Forest Field Trip

We were foresters today exploring Starker Forst in Blodgett! Although it rained the whole time we were there, we had a blast!

We were super excited to get our trip started!

We enjoyed our snack under the shelter. We kept dry for as long as we could.

Then the fun adventures started! We hiked down to a mud puddle to make animal tracks.

We passed around the bear track!

Then we got to decorate our very own wood cookie.

Our last stop before we left was a nature hike. We explored the forest and went on a scavenger hunt for pine cones, pine needles, and leaves. We started in very new forests with baby trees and ended up in old forests with trees that were almost 100 years old!

Such a cool bridge!

We saw a beaver dam back along the creek!
