Eric Carle

Today we read, Rooster's Off To See The World. We focused on the details of the story. We had to remember the 5 characters of the story and we had to remember what happened at the end of the story. I can tell that our class's comprehension is strengthening! They are able to answer my questions much quicker and with less prompting.

Word Endings

We have noticed more and more that our books have words with different word endings. We are focusing on words with -ing (we are awesome at this one!), -ed, and -s. We learned that -ed makes the word happen in the past. -s makes the word happen now.

We can read all of these words now!
