Artist In Residence

We had another PTA sponsored Artist in Residence lesson with Mrs. King today! We made butterflies using many of our art elements. We used line, color, and pattern.

We examined pictures of real butterflies so we could see the colors, patterns, and lines.

We painted with watercolors...without a brush! We made our butterflies take a bath in a color wash, then we dotted them with color, and finally sprayed them! They look beautiful! I can't wait to see how they have changed when they are dry!
