We started our weekly Eagle Nest Monday assemblies. We are building our school community at these meetings. We start with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by a classroom. Then we announce our Eagle Egg winners and we learned our new Mt. View chant. Does your child remember?
Hey, hey, hey. What's the chatter?
Mt. View says that I matter.
They told me, and I told you.
Don't you know you matter too!
Sharing
We started sharing today! It was so fun to see how excited the kids were about their sharing items. They did so well answering the 3 questions:
What did you bring?
Why did you being it?
Why is it special to you?
David brought a military dog tag.
Sofia brought her Elsa doll.
